Curious about web design? This class is intended to give you an overview of web site creation and is a good place to begin. You will learn about basic pages, how to specify colors, link to other pages, include images, and organize a layout using tables. Some of the mystery surrounding HTML (the language of the web) will be dispelled with a basic introduction. From there we will go on to create a simple web site incorporating links and photos. Prerequisites: Solid experience with computers and web browsing. The course will use Windows Notepad and Internet Explorer so students should be familiar with them, though a very brief review will be given.
